The position we most often post is Assessor. Assessors conduct on-site observations and evaluations of licensed child care programs across North Carolina, using standardized assessment tools to assess program quality.
Typical qualifications for assessor positions include:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, or a related field

Experience working in or evaluating early childhood programs

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection

Ability to travel extensively within North Carolina

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
